How do I filter learning objects when aligning by standard?
By default, when aligning by standard, a list of learning objects related to the selected standard display in the Learning Objects tab. You can refine the list of related learning objects by filtering the learning objects.
Notes:
- You can also control the list of learning objects by loading a collection.
- You can control the list of predictions by managing crosswalks.
Align by Standard
In the Navigation Menu, click the Align by Standard link.
Then, follow the steps for aligning by standard.
View All Learning Objects
After you select a standard, the Learning Objects tab [1] displays all related learning objects [2].
Open Filter
To open filter options, click the Filter Learning Objects button.
View Filter Categories
If your account has more than one type of learning object, click the Object Type drop-down menu and select an object type [1].
Then, view available filter categories [2].
Notes:
- If your account has only one type of learning object, the Object Type is selected by default.
- Custom properties for the object type determine which filter categories are available.
Select Filter Options
To filter learning objects by a filter category, click the filter category Expand icon [1]. Then, select the filter option checkboxes [2]. You can select any number of filters in any number of categories.
To remove all the filters, you can click the Clear All Filters link [3].
Note: As you select filters, the count of matching objects in subsequent filters updates dynamically based on selected filters.
View Collection
If you have a collection saved, instead of manually selecting filter options, you can load the collection of filters. Click the View Collections button.
Load Collection
Click a collection's radio button [1]. Then, click the Load button [2].
Apply Filters
After selecting filters or loading a collection, you can view a summary of selected filters [1]. To apply the selected filters, click the Apply button [2].
To cancel filter selections, click the Cancel button [3] or the Close icon [4].
Note: You can also save the filters as a collection. Learn more about creating a collection.
View Filtered Predictions
The results on the Learning Objects tab update according to the selected filters [1].
You can view the number of filters in use [2] as well as the total numbers of filtered learning objects that are predicted, aligned, or rejected [3].
