How do I search for learning objects when aligning by standard?
When aligning by standard in the Standards Alignment App, you can search for specific learning objects to align. However, you can also search for specific learning objects using words, phrases, and learning object IDs.
Align by Standard
In the Navigation Menu, click the Align by Standard link.
Then, follow the steps for aligning by standard.
View All Learning Objects
After you select a standard, the Learning Objects tab [1] displays all related learning objects [2].
Search Objects
Click the Search Objects button.
Enter Search Criteria
In the Search Learning Objects to Align window, enter words or a partial learning object ID in the Search field. For example, to search for objects whose titles involve the word central or the word message, enter central message in the Search field.
To search using a wildcard, enter an asterisk at the beginning and/or end of a search phrase. For example, to search for objects involving the phrase central message somewhere in the title, enter *central message* in the Search field.
To search using a complete ID or title, surround the complete ID or title in quotes. For example:
- To search for a learning object whose complete ID is 102234, enter "102234" in the Search field.
- To search for a learning object whose complete title is Learning about the central message of the passage, enter "Learning about the central message of the passage" in the Search field.
