The University of Cincinnati Online has recently made the switch to using a CRM, Salesforce, to help our Instruction Team manage and track the work we do across 10 colleges in Canvas. The transition to using Salesforce has allowed for better work tracking, more efficiencies, cross-functional collaboration, and greater data reporting with key external and internal partners across the university.

Over the past school year, Union Schools has utilized "Ask Your Data" to enhance student support and monitor teacher efficacy. Principals and counselors have used custom pinboards to monitor low performing students and provide timely support.

This presentation will demonstrate how schools and/or districts should go about planning the implementation of Canvas, and how to train teachers to use it successfully with students.

Join us as we soar high to take a birds-eye view of how we redesigned our professional development program (Soaring with Online Learning) for flexibility to meet the needs of all university faculty (even those teaching in-person) by offering courses in Canvas Catalog and awarding stacked micro-credentials through learning pathways in Canvas Credentials.

As AI continues to shape higher education, institutions need effective ways to showcase innovative uses of AI in teaching, research, and administrative work. In this session, we will share our AI Showcase, a publicly available Canvas course designed to highlight faculty-led AI initiatives. The showcase features exemplary work submitted in two categories: course-specific applications and broader AI use cases, including administrative efficiency, creative scholarship, and research.

"School’s Out, Strategy’s In: Summer Planning with Data-Driven EdTech Insights," focuses on utilizing LearnPlatform and Impact dashboards to manage educational technology tools. The presentation highlights how these platforms help school districts track edtech usage, ensure data privacy and accessibility compliance, and make informed decisions about tool adoption and investment. 

Transform online classroom with real-time feedback. Traditional evaluations are often too late for meaningful changes. We integrated brief, targeted pop-up surveys, using Canvas Impact, for immediate insights, allowing for rapid course adjustments and addressing issues before they significantly impact student learning outcomes. Future to include expanding surveys to faculty.
