As part of our ongoing mission to help K-12 drive efficiencies in edtech vetting and management, LearnPlatform will be releasing Customer Review Forms to help administrators ensure the right people are pulled into the evaluation process to provide their unique expertise.

LearnPlatform is excited to announce the upcoming release of the Evidence Page, a practical solution to help district leaders review and vet the impact of edtech products at scale. With this release, products in the LearnPlatform library will have a new Evidence Page detailing ESSA-aligned research completed on the tool as well as other background research, case studies and testimonials added by the solution provider.

We are thrilled to announce that the redesign of the Insights area of the Impact dashboard is now finally here! 

As we are approaching our next significant release, Canvas Data 2 will include weblogs (currently requests table in CD1). Important note:  the target release date has changed from 21 June to 5 July and the deploy notes were updated accordingly. Here we’ll provide some details about what’s new and how this differs from Canvas Data 1. 

Canvas is changing its LTI 1.3 OIDC Auth domain to align with security practices and to support the new LTI 1.3 Platform Storage specification - which lets LTI tools still function even when browsers disable cross-site 3rd-party cookies. LTI 1.3 tool developers, read on for an implementation guide and the full status of Platform Storage support. These are not breaking changes.

I’m excited to let you know that we’re planning to release filter updates to Admin Analytics in the July 5th Canvas deploy and changes to the Overview dashboard in the June 21st Canvas deploy.

Canvas Credentials achieves LTI 1.3 certification, paving the way for seamless integration and an enhanced learning experience.

The third-party app support will be released to production when the RCE is re-enabled in production on June 17th.

This time-saving feature will be available in production by the end of Q2!

At Instructure, we are always looking for ways to improve our Canvas mobile apps and make it more user-friendly. That's why we're excited to share that we are working on a new feature - Offline Support in the Canvas Student app! This feature will allow you to use a set of functionality in the app even when you don't have an internet connection.

We have created a short survey to gather insights from you guys and understand what you think, what capabilities you want to see in our app. Your feedback is crucial in determining what we prioritize in our research and development pipeline.

For Q1, we released the following items: 

• Grade By Question in SpeedGrader
• SpeedGrader Access in more locations
• Outcomes Analysis Report Downloadable csv
• Create and Share Item Banks

Our objectives for Q2 continue with our efforts to address milestone features like exporting and supporting sub-accounts, while beginning work related to grading and outcomes alignment.

Over the past 23 days, Community members have voted on 12 themes. On Friday @ 6pm MT, voting will close. Once voting closes, our team (Product and Engineering) will come together to review all of the votes and assess which themes to move to a “Prioritized Theme”. We will share which themes have been selected on June 1st.
