How do I add a completed provider application as a resource?

As a LearnPlatform administrator, you can add a completed provider application response as a resource on individual products, companies, or hardware. This allows you to share the application response to others through your organization product library or publicly in your Public Product Library (PPL).

Note: To add a provider application response as a resource, the application must have an Accepted status.

Open Provider Applications

Click the Management drop-down menu [1], then click the Provider Applications link [2].

Open Application Responses

To view all submitted responses to the provider application, click the number link in the  Applicants column.

Alternatively, to view responses from an open application, click the Invitees tab [1], then click the View Responses button [2].

Click an applicant name link.

Click the Add as Resource button.

Note: The Add as Resource button is only available if the application is accepted and approved. Learn more about managing and approving application responses.

If the application was targeted to vendors/providers/companies, it can apply to several tools/products. For that type of application, the Selected Products section displays [1]. Hover the cursor over and click the Select button of one or more products [2].

To change the name for the application as a resource, edit the name in the Resource Name field [1].

To change the description of the application as a resource, edit the description in the Description field [2].

By default, the resource will be visible only to administrators in the Product Management table.

To make the resource also visible in the organization product library, click the Internal Product Library checkbox [1].

To make the resource also visible in the PPL, click the Public Product Library checkbox [2].

Note: To make changes to resource visibility later, make changes in the product settings.

Click the Save button.

View Resource

To view the resource, open the product details from a product listing. Depending on the resource's visibility settings, access the product from the product management table, the organization product library, and/or the public product library.

To view the application contents, click the resource name link.

Edit Resource

To edit the application resource from the details page, click the Edit icon [1]. Modify the sharing settings, name, or description as needed.

To remove an application resource, click the Delete icon [2].

Note: If you delete a resource, you can re-add it back as as a resource by going back to the completed application and adding it again.
