What reports are available to me as an admin?

Several types of reports are available to you as an Mastery Connect admin for analyzing results for the schools, classes, and students in your district. Overview reports display overall standards mastery. Custom reports let you compare assessments. Growth reports and growth projection reports help you analyze benchmark assessment growth. Formative and benchmark assessment reports allow you to view individual assessment data.

These reports may include student names or item analysis details.

You can print some reports or export them to a CSV file.

Benchmark Assessment Reports

Benchmark Assessment reports display graphs that summarize student mastery on a common benchmark assessment. The report initially displays district-level and school-level data. However, you can apply filters, manage the chart display, and use report links to drill-down to view instructor-, course-, and tracker-level data.

Benchmark Assessment Report Details:

  • At the student level, these reports include students names.
  • At the student level, these report include item analysis.
  • You can print or export this report to a CSV file for data sorting.
  • Only benchmark assessments set as Private to District are available for benchmark assessment reports.

Custom Reports

Custom reports allow you to compare student scores between two benchmark assessments or formative assessments. By default, the custom reports display student mastery results. However, you can choose to display results by custom cut scores. You can also filter the report to display assessment results by school, grade, teacher, standard, or demographic groups.

Formative Assessment Reports

Formative Assessment reports display graphs that summarize student mastery by on a common formative assessment. The report initially displays district-level and school-level data. However, you can apply filters, manage the chart display, and use report links to drill-down to view instructor-, course-, and tracker-level data.

Formative Assessment Report Details:

  • At the student level, these reports include student names.
  • At the student level, these reports include item analysis.
  • You can print or export these reports to a CSV file for data sorting.
  • Only formative assessments set as Private to School or Private to District are available for formative assessment reports.

Growth Projection Reports

Growth Projection reports use a benchmark score and an target growth goal to calculate the score students need on a second benchmark to meet the growth goal. To view score calculations for individual students, you can export the report as a CSV file.

Growth Report

Growth reports calculate students' mastery growth from an initial benchmark assessment to another based on a target growth goal. The growth report displays the percentage of students whose scores met the growth goal. To view detailed information for individual students, you can export the report as a CSV file.
