How do I export assessment scores to a CSV file?
From a Mastery Connect tracker, you can export student assessment scores to a CSV file, which you can then open in an application such as Microsoft Excel. You have the option to export student answers for each item on the assessment, the points earned by each student, and each student's overall percentage.
Open Tracker
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Trackers link [1]. In the Trackers page, click a tracker name link [2].
Export Multi-Standard Assessment Scores or Mastery
In the Students tab [1] of the Tracker View page, you can export scores, mastery levels, or percentages for all the standards in a multi-standard assessment. Hover the cursor over the assessment title [2], and click the Export Scores link [3].
Note: You can also export scores for individual standards in a multi-standard assessment. Click the assessment title [2]. Then in the Assessment Details page, hover the cursor over any individual standard, and click the Export Scores link.
Export Single-Standard Assessment Scores or Mastery
To export the scores for a single-standard assessment, first open the Standard Details page. In the Students tab of the Tracker View page, click the name of a standard.
In the Standard Details page, hover the cursor over the assessment title [1] and click the Export to Excel link [2].
Select Export Options
In the Export Options window, click the checkboxes to select export options.
- To export student answers for each item, click the Show answers for each item checkbox [1].
- To show the number of points students earned on each item, click the Show points for each item checkbox [2].
- To show overall student percentage scores, click the Show percentages for each score checkbox [3].
Export
To export the content to a CSV file, click the Export button.
View Exported File
The exported CSV file displays information for each student, including school [1], teacher [2], tracker/class name [3], assessment name [4], student ID [5], the student's last name [6], the student's first name [7], the total assessment points possible [8], and each student's total raw score [9].
If you selected export options, the file may also display each student's overall percentage score [10], student answers [11], and the number of points earned [12].
