How do I create a tracker from a SIS section?
If Mastery Connect is integrated with your district's Student Information System (SIS), you can add class lists to your tracker directly from the SIS.
Notes:
- After you create a tracker from a SIS section, the class roster on the tracker automatically updates when changes occur in the SIS.
- If you previously added students to a tracker either manually or through a CSV file, you can connect those students to the SIS after your school or district has integrated with Mastery Connect. Edit the tracker and link it to a classroom.
Create Tracker
In the Home page [1], click the Mastery Trackers Option icon [2]. Then click the Create New Tracker menu [3].
Note: You can also create a tracker from your curriculum maps page, from your shared curriculum maps page, or from another teacher's curriculum map.
Choose Tracker Option

Select whether the new tracker will be from a Standard Set [1] or a Curriculum Map [2].
Import SIS List

In the New Tracker window, enter details to create the mastery tracker.
Click the Add Students drop-down menu, and select the Import Students from SIS option [1].
Click the Import from SIS drop-down menu, and select your class [2].
To create the new tracker, click Create button [3].
Note: If your SIS section does not appear in the drop-down list, contact your district SIS administrator.
Select Tracker
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Trackers link [1]. Locate the tracker for the class you want to link. Click the Options icon [2], then click the Edit link [2].
Link Tracker to Classroom

In the Edit Tracker page, select your class from the Link to Section drop-down menu [1].
To finalize the link, click the Update button [2].
Confirm Tracker and SIS Match

Student names that appear in the tracker but not in the SIS display [1].
To update the tracker to match the SIS and display the Update button, click the Remove the below students from the tracker? checkbox [2].
To save changes, click the Update button [3].
Update Student Numbers
If the student number in the tracker does not match the student number in the SIS, you can change it manually. Hover over the student name in the tracker's student list and click the Edit link [1]. Repeat this step until all student numbers in the tracker match the SIS.
If a student in the tracker does not appear in the SIS, you can delete them from the tracker completely by clicking the Delete icon [2].
When you are finished updating the tracker, link the updated tracker to your classroom
