In Canvas Apps Monitor, you can manage custom groupings for LTI apps without a unique tool ID (UTID) to enable usage data aggregation, analysis, and monitoring for your LTI apps.
Open Custom LTI Apps Grouping
In the Canvas Apps page, click the Settings icon [1]. Then click the Custom LTI Apps Grouping link [2].
View Custom LTI Apps Grouping
Ungrouped LTI apps are listed in the Ungrouped LTI apps by installation location drop-down section [1].
Grouped LTI apps are listed in the Grouped LTI Apps section [2] by the group name [3].
Move LTI App(s)
Select the LTI App(s) to move to a group [1]. Then click the Move select drop-down menu [2].
To move the selected LTI App(s) to an existing group, click the To an existing group link [3].
To move the selected LTI App(s) to a new group, click the To a new group link [4].
Move LTI App(s) to an Existing Group
To move the selected LTI App(s) to an existing group, enter a search name in the Search field [1] or click the name of the group [2]. Then, click the Move button [3]
Move LTI App(s) to a New Group
To move the selected LTI App(s) to a new group, enter a group name in the Group Name field [1]. Then, click the Move button [2].
Remove LTI App(s) from a Group
To remove an LTI App from a group, select the LTI App(s) to remove from a group [1]. Then click the Edit Selected drop-down menu [2] and click the Ungroup button [3].
Note: After ungrouping an LTI app, it is still visible in the Ungrouped LTI apps by installation location drop-down section.
Edit LTI Group
To edit an LTI group, click the Settings icon [1]. Then click the Edit LTI group link [2].
Edit LTI Group Name
To edit the LTI group name, enter the new name in the Group name field [1]. Then click the Save button [2].
Delete LTI Group
To delete an LTI Group, locate the desired Grouped LTI Apps section [1]. Then click the Settings button [2] and click the Delete group option [3].
Note: After deleting an LTI Group, the LTI Apps are still visible in the Ungrouped LTI apps by installation location drop-down section.
Confirm LTI Group Deletion
A deletion confirmation modal displays. To confirm the LTI Group deletion, click the Delete button.
