What are Impact Campaigns?

Impact campaigns serve as a structured approach to enhance specific aspects of a Learning Management System to enhance engagement with content and tools.

Impact Campaigns

Impact campaigns act as a container that brings together different elements designed to address a specific use case within the LMS.

For instance, if the goal is to boost engagement with discussion boards, a campaign can incorporate various components, such as:

  • Targeted Messages: Notifications or reminders posted directly on the discussion page to encourage participation.
  • Support Resources: Articles or FAQs that address common queries about using discussion boards effectively.
  • Monitoring Tools: Analytics or feedback mechanisms that track user engagement on the discussion boards.

While not every campaign needs to include all three elements, the flexibility to mix and match allows for a tailored approach based on the campaigns goals.

Target Audience and Duration

Each impact campaign is designed with a specific audience in mind, whether that be faculty, students, or another group. Additionally, campaigns are typically limited to a defined timeframe, such as one month, which helps create urgency and focus.

Campaign Outcomes

Campaign Outcomes allows you to access statistics related to how campaigns messages, articles, and walkthroughs are being viewed and how tool usage among the campaign audience is impacted by your efforts.

Campaign Content

Once a campaign is imported into your Impact dashboard, both the campaign shell and the content included become local inside your dashboard. When they are local, they remain unaffected by the Out of the Box changes to the original campaign template. You can add or remove content to an existing campaign.

Support Center Categories

Support Center Categories displays the Support Center Category name that the campaign is added to. You can add an existing category or unlink a category.
